That daily rhythm shaped us back in ’94, when we were just a single-shed family business helping a local builder get what he needed before the rain rolled in.
Word quickly spread that we were the spot to pick up the right tools, book a weather-smart marquee, or sort a quick pool-water test without running all over town.
Decades on, the faces and projects are new each day, yet the promise is the same: walk in with a plan (or a panic) and drive out with practical advice, reliable solutions and the confidence to get on with life in the Northern Rivers.

Festivals and Weddings As demand for event infrastructure increased, we launched a dedicated event & party hire desk. Supplying clear-roof marquees, furniture and lighting to the Byron Bay Writers Festival, Bluesfest, Splendour in the Grass and countless backyard receptions across the Shire.
Pools Complete the Trio
Pools Complete the Trio A coin-disc water-testing lab and shelves of Evo-pure and Lo-Chlor chemicals create the standalone Pool Shop. With specialist crews now across three divisions, Mullumbimby Hire becomes the Northern Rivers’ recognised one-stop hire shop, still family-owned, still on Station Street.

Bluesfest food stalls run on our cool rooms, Splendour in the Grass art bars sparkle under our festoons, and SAE College film crews borrow silent generators for late-night shoots. From the Blackmores Adaptive Surfing Championship to the Winter Whales Charity Swim, our gear and crew donate time so good causes stay front and centre.
